Hi everyone,
My name is Brooke and i am reaching out today with a question I’ve been reflecting on personally and discussing with industry peers. The fashion landscape today feels saturated; Between emerging brands, heritage labels and the big global giants it feels difficult to navigate.
Through my research I’ve noticed a troubling trend: A significant portion of the industry engages in greenwashing almost as much as they market their products. This raises a critical question : Why aren’t consumer habits shifting more meaningfully in response?
Where do you stand on this? Have you made conscious efforts to improve your consumption habits when it comes to fashion?
As part of this exploration, I’m writing a research paper focused on emerging sustainable fashion brands and the innovative business models they’re adopting. A key component of my research is understanding the consumer perspective: How your choices, perceptions and opinions influence the market.
If you have a few minutes, I’d greatly appreciate your insights through the short survey linked below:
Consumer Survey: Authentic Sustainability in Emerging Fashion Brands
Your participation will contribute to building an authentic study with the hope of sparking meaningful change within the evolving fashion industry.
Thank you in advance!

We can transform the fashion industry significantly through sustainable practices, but it requires commitment across the value chain. By integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles—reducing environmental impact, ensuring fair labor, and improving transparency—brands can shift toward circular models, responsible sourcing, and ethical production. While challenges remain in scaling and consumer adoption, ESG-driven sustainability has the power to reshape the industry for long-term resilience and trust.
